Something to think about
With all the activity in Wisconsin and the teachers' protests that are happening in my own city I thought I would post a little something to think about. Now more than ever it is important to get involved and protect the rights that organized labor has fought hard to provide for us. You don't have to be a union member to appreciate the things that unions have done for the working class. Think about your weekend, your 8 hour work day, your benefits, and stand with the teachers, health care professionals, bus drivers, auto workers, farmers, firemen, police officers, in your community who need your support. Uphold the fine tradition of American workers before you and tell your legislatures that you won't put up with UNION BUSTING!!!

Legs I Love-Cyd Charisse
When it comes to dancers, or legs, there is no question that Cyd Charisse is a goddess. I first saw her in "Singin in the Rain" when I was a little girl and after the dream sequence I kept thinking "Why isn't Gene Kelly going to find that amazing flapper in the green dress?". Now that I'm older I still think "Why is Gene Kelly going to find that amazing flapper in the green dress?". Alas, things don't always turn out the way they should in movie land. Here's to Cyd, her incredible name, her beautiful legs, her breath taking style, and overwhelming talent. That's not enough adjectives for Cyd, but it's all I can come up with for now.
